I'm baaaaack

Hey there, y'all!
I'm terribly sorry for the two-day hiatus that I took, but things have been SO crazy around here!
I'm trying to get things together for our upcoming trip [we leave ONE WEEK from today! eeeek!] and still working every single day from 12-8 and trying to fit workouts in everyday, as well. And whew, I am exhausted. But it's all worth it and I wouldn't have it any other way!

I hate to say it but I won't be able to do a Bachelorette Recap this week. I just love making sure they're picture perfect so they take a while to do and I just haven't had the time to do one this week, and to be honest, probably won't have time next week either since I'll be wrapping up the final details of our trip :(. But bear with me, and I promise to have at least 2 more before the end of the season! ;)

Today, I'm linking up with sweet Jenna over at The Life of the Wife for...

The last thing I ate was....

An Abrams' cheese biscuit. Now I know y'all have no idea what this is, but one of the only pride & joys of my small, two stoplight town is Abrams, a family owned barbecue restaurant that has the BEST cheese biscuits known to man. Mhhhmmm...worth every single calorie. (I ran 2 miles and walked 3 miles this morning..I am forgiven)

The last thing I wished for....

...was these next 7 days to FLY by. I am getting so antsy about our upcoming trip that I can hardly stand it. I know y'all are probably tired of hearing me talk about it, but I'm just so excited!! Hurry up, June 28th!!!

That last thing I spent money on...
Gas. Boo. At least it was pretty cheap, if you consider $3.21 a gallon cheap. :|

The last thing I thought...

I'm sleepy. Zzzzzzzzzz
The last thing I was stressed out about...

My ginormous to-do list. It's killing me, slowly but surely.

The last thing I heard...

A stupid political campaign commercial. Seriously, guys. No need to bash each other. I have never seen the reasoning behind political campaigns that only bash the other candidate. In my humble opinion, completely pointless. Just talk about what you're going to do instead of what the other guy is or isn't doing. Just sayin'.

Short and sweet, today!
That to-do list I mentioned earlier? Yeah, it's unfortunately calling my name. Over and over.

Have a fab Thursday, y'all! xo

I think $3.21 is cheep!! I had to fill up yesterday for $3.75...and I thought it was lower than normal!

I love this link-up! Didn't end up doing it this week, but nonetheless : ) That first picture is so beautiful! Of course I am not entirely sure of what city it is and I will refrain from making my guess so I don't sound completely ignorant : ) And TALK ABOUT gas prices and to-do lists AND those obnoxious political commercials. On the bright side, gas prices are going down! And tip for the to-do list - write stuff you've already done. Then you feel accomplished ; )

Life trumps blogging. Always. (I cling to that motto b/c I have way more "I'm too busy" days than not.)

Send me some cheese biscuits. Thank you, in advance.

Hahaha.

Also, put me in your suitcase.

I'll probably fit.

(Never been west of central TX....have talked about going to Cali with the hubs. One day...one day.)

Oh...and you are forgiven on the recap-less week. Just don't do it again. Lol. ;) (Unless you absolutely must. This week was an amazing week for guy-bashing. Um...Ryan...cough, cough.)

Visiting from Last things Thursday!
Oh man what I would give to pay $3.21 a gallon for gas! That'd be a dream for us right now. Enjoy your vacation! Sounds like you're really ready for it.
